Jeep Cherokee XJ and Grand Cherokee ZJ were originally designed to do the mall crawl in questionable weather, not to climb a 30-foot waterfall. As a result, the unibody will flex and eventually get bent out of shape causing issues with door-fitment, rear hatch misalignment, creaking and groaning while driving, cracking and many other less than pleasant issues. We've dug up an old trick and brought it to the Jeep XJ/ZJ world. Using our Unibody Stiffeners by themselves you can establish a chassis sub-frame where there never has been one.

New! Chassis Stiffener Extensions

For those running long arm suspension setups on their Jeep Cherokee XJ's T&T Customs now offers chassis stiffener extensions. Constructed of 3/16" steel plate like our chassis stiffeners they extend from the front edge of our chassis stiffeners to just behind the coil bucket. Requires use of a long arm style suspension. Factory lower control arm mounts have to be removed in order to install.

Note:Welding required during installation. Product ships bare metal and chassis stiffeners are sold in pairs (left and right). Chassis stiffeners were designed to work with the T&T Customs Y-Link^TM Radius Arm System, T&T Customs Y-Link^TM Radius Arm Upgrade, or our HD Bellypan for establishing a complete sub-frame
